RESOLUTION NO. 3233
A RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OF ENGINEER'S REPORT
FOOTHILLS ANNEXATION NO. 2 SANITARY SEWERS
PROJECT NO. 59-10
RESOLVE,), by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, that
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of June, 1960, said C ouncil did adopt ite
Resolutio n No. 3230 of Preliminary Determination and of Intentio n to
acquire an d constru ct improvemen ts in said City and did refer the proposed
acqu isition s an d improv emen ts to the City Engin eer, he being th e officer
hav ing char ge an d control of the acquisitions and construction of public
improv em ents in a nd fo r sa id City of the kind described therein and being
a competent pe rson employed by sa id City for that pu rpose, and did therein
direct said City Engineer to make and file with the City Clerk of said
City a repo rt in writing all as therein more particularly described, unde r
and pu rsuant to the Palo Alto Improv ement Pr ocedu re Code;
WHEREAS, said City En gineer ha s made an d filed with the City Clerk
of said City a r epor t in writin g as called for in said Resolution of
Prelimin ary Determination an d of Inten tion and under an d pursuan t to
said Code, which report has been presented to this Cou ncil for consider-
ation;
WHEREAS, said Coun cil has du ly co nsidered sa id re por t a nd each a nd
ever y part thereof, and finds that each an d ever y part of said repor t is
sufficient, and that said r epor t, nor any part thereo f requires or should
be mo dified in any respect;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That the plans and specifications for the pr oposed impr ovements
to be made, contained in said repo rt, be, an d the y ar e hereby, prelim-
inar ily approved a nd con firmed.
2. That the Engineer's estima te of the itemize d and total coats
an d expenses of said acquisitions and improv ements and of the incidenta l
expe nses in conne ction ther ew ith, contained in sa id repor t, be, and eac h
of them are hereby, preliminarily approved an d con fir med.

3. That the diagram showing the assessme nt dist rict referred to and
describe d in said Resolutio n of Prelimi nary Dete rmi nation and of I nten-
tion a nd also the bo undaries and dimensio ns of the resp ective subdivisions
of land within said assessment district as th e s ame existed at the time of
the passage of said Resolution of P reliminary Dete rmi natio n a nd of Inte n-
tion, ea ch of which su bdivisions hav e bee n given . s epa rate number up on
sa id diagram, as con ta ined in said report, be, and it is hereby, p relim-
in ar ily approved an d confirmed.
4. That the pr oposed a ssessment upon the several s ubdivisions of
lan d in said asse ssment district in proportio n to the estimated benefits
to be r eceived by suc h subdiv isions, respectively, fro m said acquisitions
an d improvements, and of the in cidenta l ex penses thereof, as c ontained in
said report, be, an d they are hereby, prelim inarily appro ved and confir med.
5. That the ma ps an d descriptions of the acquisitions to be made,
as conta ined in said report, be, a nd thesame ar e hereby, preli mi narily
appr oved.
6. That said r eport sha ll stand as the En gin eer 's repor t for the
pur poses of all subsequent procee dings had pur suant to said Resolution
of Pr eliminary Deter mination an d of In tention.
