A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
BIRCH STREET
PROJECT NO. 59-3
RESOLVED, by the City Council Of th e City of Pal o Alto, Californi a,
that
WHEREAS, the City Man ager did in ope n session on the 8th day of
July, 1960, publicly open, examine and decla re all se aled prop osals or
bids 1'or the work to be don e and improvements to be made, as described and
specified in Resolution of In tention No. 3213 adopted by said Council on
April 25, 1960, to which resolu tion referen ce is hereby made for a descrip-
tio n of the wor k and improvements to be do ne a nd the mat erials, supplies
and equipme nt to be furnished therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follow s:
1. Tha t said Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bide
except that here inafter mentio ne d, and her eby a wards the co ntract for do-
ing the wo rk and improv emen ts a nd furnishing the materials, supplies and
equipmen t n ecessary therefor, to the lowest responsible bidder , to -wit:

at the unit prices nam ed in its bid.
2. That the Ma yor of said City is hereby authorize d to make an d
en ter into a written con tract w ith sa id su ccessful bidder , an d to receive
an d a pprove all bo nds in connection ther ew ith, and the City Clerk of said
City is hereby directed to attest his signa ture and a ffix thereto the
corporate seal of said City.
