WHEREAS, on June 13, 1960, this Council adopted its
Resolution No. 3224, A Resol utio n ..of Prelimi nary Determination and
of Intention to Make Chan ges and Modifications under Res olutio n
No. 2382, A Resolutio n. of Preliminary Determination ad opted
October 27., 1952, and Resolu tion No. 2425,.A Resolutio n of
Intention , adopted April 13, 1953, wherein it did preliminarily
deter mine that the public in terest,,- eonvenier ae and necessity
require, a nd that it intends to ordaar.,certei,n .changes and modifi-
cations therein particular ly deso}?iitltd;i,
WHEREAS, pur suan t to said `Fteso)Ition No: 322'$' notice h as
been du ly given of the time an d place when a nd where said Co uncil
w ill consider an d finally determine whether the pu blic interest,
convenience and necessity requir e said changes, a nd when and where
it will consider and finally act upon the matter of making said
charges and modifications and when and whew 'lt will' hea r'°atll pro-
tests in relation thereto; and
WHEREAS, no per son s interested appea red or filed wr itten
protests again st said proceedings or a ny part ther eof and all per -
son a desiring to be hea rd w er e giv en an oppor tunity to be hear d,
and a ll matters and things perta in in g to said changes an d m odifi-
ca tions were fully heard and considered by this Co un cil;
NOW, THEREFOR% IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED, as
follows:
1. Tha t all pr otests and objections be, and they are
:he re by overru le d.
2. That the p ublic int erest, convenie nce and nec essity
require said changes and modifications as set forth in Resolutio n
No. 3224, A R es olutio n of Prelimina ry D etermin atio n and of
Intention to Make Changes and Modific ati ons .
3. That $aid changes a nd modific ations are hereby o rdered
to be m ade and had, all as more p artic ularly set forth in said
Resolu tion No. 3224.

I hereby ce rtify the foregoing to be a t rue copy of
Resolution adopted by the Council of the City of lalo Alto,
California, at a r egular mee ting thereof held on the 27th day of
Jun e, 1960, by the following v ote of the members there of:
