RESOLUTION ORDERING THE AUNDONNENT OF
A PORTION OF A STMT MIN' AS PEPPER
STREET IN THE CIT': OF PALO ALTO
WHEREAS, the C ouncil of the City of Palo Alto did, on the
23rd da y of May, 1960, pasa its Resolution of Intentio n No . 3219
to close and abandon the following described pr operty in the
City of Palo Alto, County of Sant a Cla re, State of Califo rnia,
BEGINNING at a poi nt upon the southeaste rly
line of Pepper Avenue (30 feet wide) said
point being also the most northerly c orner
of Lot 17, Block 4, as shown on the snap of
Sunnyside Addition, recorded February ZS, 1905
in Boo k IC of M aps at page 47, R ecords of Sa nt a
Clara County, California; then ce Northwesterly
alo ng the nor thwesterly prolo ng ation of the
nor theaster) line of laid Lot 30.QOCfiet.t o
a poin t on the northw esterly line of Pepper
Av enue; thenc e So uthwesterly along s aid n orth-
we ster ly lino 200.00 feet; thence Southe asterly
alo ng the northwesterly prolongation of th e
so uthwester ly line of Lot 20 of said flo ck, 30.00
fee t to the most we ste rly corner of said Lot 20;
thence Nor theasterly alo ng said southeasterly
lin e of Pepper Avenue 200.00 feet to the point
of beginn in g, be ing a portion of tipper Avenue
as shown u po n said map.

WHEREAS, pur suant to said resolution a public hearing was
held on June 27, 1960; and
WHEREAS, fr om all the e vidence submitted the City Co uncil of
the City of Palo Alto finds that said proper ty aa .'desc ribe d here in
and in said Resolu tion No. 3219 is no lon ger necessary for the
pur poses for which it wa s acquired and de dicated;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it re so lv ed that the Council of the City
of Palo Alto hereby or ders sa id property as desc ribed herein and in
sa id Re solution No. 3219 a bandone d.
The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this reso lution
to be reco rded in the office of the Cou nty Recorder of Sa nta Clar a
Cou nty, Califor nia . Said r esolutio n shall no t be recor ded un til
all of the costs of a bandonmen t hav e been paid to the City by
Hewlett Packa rd Company.
