A RESOLUTION ' CALLING FOR SEATED PROPOSALS

RESOLVED, by the Cou ncil of the City of Palo Alto,
Califor nia , that
WREREA2, the Said Council did, on the 25th d ay of April,
1960, adopt its Resolu tion of Inte ntio n No. 3213, to order the
acquisition and con str uction of certai n streets and street improve
mea ts in said 'Ciity, a ll as mo re particula rly described and set
forth in said'Re solution of In tention;

men ts, an d r eferring to the plans and spec ifications on file in
the office of said City Cler k, the fir st ofd hich pu blications
siia1:..,be at least ten days prior to the time fixed for opening
bids.
All pr oposals or bids shall be accompanied by a cashier 's
or certified check paya ble to the or der of the City amou ntin g to
ten per cent of the bid, or by a bond in said amoun t an d payable
to said City, signed by the bidder and a corporate su rety or by
the bidder an d two su reties who shall justify before a ny officer
competent to admin ister an oath, iri dou ble said amoun t a nd over
and abov e all statutor y ex emption s.
Said sealed pr oposals shall be de liver ed to the City Clerk
on or before 3:00 o'clock P. M. of Mggitglev, the 8th day of
July , 1960, sa id time being n ot less than ten
da ys from the time of the first publication of sa id notice. Bids
w ill be open ed, examined and declared on said day and hour by the

report to the Council his fi ndings, which findings shall be
considered by said Council at its meeting to be held at said
place on Mond ay, July 11 , 1960, at
7:30 o'clock P.M .
