NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follo ws:
1. That said-C'o uneil hereby rejects all of said propos als or
bids except that hereinafter men tion ed, and hereby awards th e
contract for doin g the wo rk an d improv emen ts an d furnishing the
mater ials, supplies an d equipment necessary therefor, to the low-
est responsible bidde r, to -wit:

at the un it prices n amed in its bid.
2. That the Mayor of said City is her eby au tho rize d to make
and e nter into a writte n contract with said su ccessful bidder,
and to r eceiv e and appr ov e all bo nds in connection there with, and
the City Clerk of said City is hereby direc te d to attest his
signa ture an d affix thereto the corpo rate se al of said City.
