RESOLVED, by the Co;a ncil of the City of ,P alo Alto,
Ca lifornia, that
WHEREAS, said Council did on the 14th d ay of Decemb er,
1959, adopt its Resolution of Intentio n No. 3176 to order acqui-
sitions and improvemen ts the rein described; and did therein fi x
the time and place when and.w here. said Council would hear any
and a1l person s intere sted therein ;
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of said City duly gave notice of
the time and place of said hear ing, in the time, for m and manner
provided by law;

objections;
WHEREAS, wr itten and oral protests and
objections again st the pr oposed a cquisitions a nd improvements
ha ve been filed rith the City Clerk of said City at or before or
made at. the tim e set for sa id hearing by pe rsons in tere sted or
who ar e owners of property which is subject to assessment in said
proceedings;
WHEREAS, said Council has duly heard and co nside red each
and a ll of said protests and objections a nd each a nd all persons
desiring to be heard in conn ection with said m atter wa s and were
given an oppor tunity to and did present their sa id protests a nd
o bjections, and sa id matters were fully presen ted, heard and con -
sidered by said Council; and
WHEREAS, it appears, and said Co uncil so finds, th at said
protests so filed were' not%filed by the cw ne rs of more tha n one--
ha lf of the area of the p roperty to be aaseasel for said improv e-
m ents;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOL VED and ORDERED th at said
protests and objections be, a nd they and ea ch and all of the m are
her eby, overruled and denied.
