No. 3176, A Resolu tion of Intention to Aoquir e a nd Const ruct Im-
pro veme nts, West Charleston Road, Project No. 59-9, adopt ed by
this Coun cil on De cem ber 14, 1959, as follo ws, to - wit:
(a) Change and modify the work to be do ne a,ndthe plans and
speoifioa tions therefor to prov ide for relocation of sidewalks
adja ce nt to the cu rb.
(b) Chan ge an d modify the maps an d descriptions ;>f property
and easements propose d to be acquired to provide for the aoquisiti
of utility easements only in the northwesterly and southea sterly
5 feet of the easements proposed to be acquir ed, an d to pro vide
for the en cr oaohment of a ll existin g treeae bu shes an d structur es
within s aid 5 foot :str ips which would no t in ter fere with the u se
of said str ips as utility rights of way.
(o) Change and modify the estimate of co at and the pro posed
as se ssmen t to reflect the fore going changes.
2. Notioe is her eby given that Monday, the 28th day of
Mar ch, 1960, at the hau r of 7:30 o'clock P.M., at the Co uncil
Chambers, City Hall, Pa lo Alto, Californ ia, are here by fixed as
