1. The City Clerk of said City be, and she is he reby,
directed to call Tor bids for thpea1 e,omef improvement b onds to be

ban ks and bond houses intere sted in the purchase of such bonds
at least ten days before the date of sa le. Said :notice shall
also be published o nce in the Palo A1tq,T1mea at_leaat_tan days
befo re openin g sa id bids.
2. The City w ill furn ish the lega l opinion of the law
firm of Kir kbride, Wilson , Herzfeld & Wallace, San Ma teo , Calif-
ornia, unqualifiedly appr oving the legality of the pr oceedings
and the issu ance of said bonds.
