WHEREAS, said Council, in respons e to notice duly given as
hereto for e ordered by Resoliution' telling.tor Bide for Sale of
Bon ds - Second Dir�,1$+o ripopt®d by .A e Counci`. on No vembe r 23,
1959, has called for bids for the aale of s aid bo nds heretof or e
order ed issued;
WHEREAS, sa id bids ha ve bee n reeeivedAnd publicly ope ned,
exa mined and declared by the City manager and reported to this
Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, 12 IS ORDERED, as '"follows
1. Tha t all written bids r eceived for the purchase of s aid
bonds, ex cepting the bid her ein stated, be, a nd they are hereby,
rejected a nd that said bonds be, a nd they a re hereby, or dered sold
to Firat Ca lifo rnia Co mpa ny
as the highe st r esponsible bidder therefor , with in terest to the
date of deliver y of said bon ds, said sale to be subject to a ll of
the terms and conditio ns set forth in the Official Notice of Sale
and in sa id accepted bid.
2. That the City Clerk of said City be, a nd she is her eby,
directed to have said bonds printed forthwith, and that the same
be imm ediately signed, sea led a nd delivere d to said bidder on re-
ceipt of the amount thereof, with inte rest but not otherwise , and
u pon the performan ce of the con dition s contained in said wr itten
offer .
