RESOLUTION'OF.THE COUNCIL OF THE MITT OF PALO ALTO
ORDERINCPPRE ABANDONMENT iT CFA PARK LOCATE
ON ST, FRANCIS TERRACE AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO SELL SAID LAND AT A PUBLIC SAL&
WHEREAS,
on the 24th day September, 1956, purauant to the
Municipal Park Abandonment Law of 1939, the Council of the City
of Palo Alto did pass and adopt Resolution No. 2780, giving notice
of its intention to abandon a certain park .in the City of Palo Alto,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at the mot northerly corner .or Lot 20,
Block 360, Tract Number 282, St. Francis Terrace,
recorded May 26, 1946, in Book 10 of Maps at pages
34 and 35, Records of Santa Clara County, Califor-
nia, aatd corner being a point upon the southerly
line of St. Francis Drive; thence easterly along
said line of St. Francis Drive, on a curve to the
right, the radius of which is 110 feet, through a
central angle of 111" 13' 27", an arc distance of
213.a3 feet to the most northerly corner of Lot 21,
Block 360, Tract Number 282; thence S. 38' 15' W.,
along the northwesterly line of said Lot 21, a dis-
tance of 109.01 feet; thence N. 45" 15' 45" W.,
along the northeasterly line of said Lot 20, a dis-
tance of 158.02 feet to the point of beginning;
and
WHEREAS, by said resolution published in the Palo Alto Times
on October 23 and 30 and November 6, 1956, said Council duly gave
notice of and fixed the 13th .day of November, 1956, at 7:30 p.m.,
in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Palo Alto, California,
as the day, hour' and place when and where any and all persons hav-
ing any objections to the proposed abandonment may appear before
said Council and show cause why said park should not be abandoned;
and
WHL EAS, bail council, of said City did hear and pass upon all
protests made to said abandonment; and
WHEREAS, all proceedings bane been in conformity with law;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the City of
Palo Alto:
