Modify the acquisitions to' be made, the work to be done, the plane snd`'''apseificationa therefor, and the'map of lands to be taken, to show the following: All 4f. Hart'e:dubdivision of •:1oc.k NO. 4, Univereity'Paric, recarded August 22, 1="•:, in Book D of Maps at page 14, Record's of Santa Clara County, California. 2. Modify the estimate of cost to conform to the foregoing 'c:hanges. 3. The City Engineer shall change and .modify the plans and specifications, map and the estimate of cost to reflect the above ohmngee, by either ©hanging them on their face or by filing amend- ments thereto. . 4.. Diadified plans and specifications, map and estimate of cost Are hereby preliminarily approved and ordered filed in the office of the City Clerk. Monday, the 24th day of September, 1956, at the hour or 7:30 o tolo$k p.m., at the Count. 3, : Ohambere, City Hall, Palo Alto, Calif- ornia, are hereby'•'tined as the time and place when and where said Counoil will consider and finally determine whether the public inter- est, convenience and necessity require said changes, without further . compliance with the Special Assessment lnveatigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931, and when and where it will oonsi- der and finally act upon the matter of making said °hangs* and modi- fications and -when and where it will hear all protests in relation thereto. The City Clerk shall cause a copy of this resolution to be pub- li.ehed twice in the Palo Alto Times, a newspaper of general oiroule- tioi' published in said City, and cause a copy thereof to be posted near the Council Chamber door, the first of which publications and said posting shall be at least ten days before the day set for hear- ing. The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro- duced and passed by the Council of the City of Palo Alto at a regultAr meeting onTMeeday, the llth day of Sept, 1956, by the fol- lowing votes AYES: Bishop, Byxbee, Corcoran, Cresap, C ings, Davie, Drysdale, Qiffin, Marshall, Davis, Po!'ter, Rodgers, Ruppenthai, Simpson.
