RESOLUTION NO. ?612
RESOLUTION ORDERING ABANDONMENT OF EASEMENT
WHEREAS, the Council of' the City oi' Pelo Alto did., on the
14th da~~ or February I 1955, pass 1 ts Resolution of Intention
No. 2600 to abandon a pc1rtion of an easement granted to the
Cityor Palo Alto by deed dated September 24, 1954, and recorded
in Book 2974, Page 277, ·ort1c1a1 Records, Santa Clara county,
State of California; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said resolution, a public hearing was
held on March 14, 1955; and
WHEREAS, rrom all the evidence submitted, the City Counc1_1
of the City of Palo Alto finds that said easement, aa described
herein and in said Resolution of Intent1ou No. 2600, is no
longer necessary fc-r the purpose for which 1t was acquired and
de·j:1.ca ted;
NOW THEREFORE, be it :resolved that the Council of the City
of Palo Alto hereby orders the abandorunent of all that po:r•tion
of the 60-foot strip of land described 1n the deed dated Septem-
ber 24, 1954, recorded in Book 2974, Page 277, Official Records,
Santa Clara County, State of California, that llos without the
boundaries of Elmdale Drive and Ehr.dale Court, as said Elmdale
Drive and Elmdale Court al'e designated upc•n the map of Tract
No. 1353, Elmdale Unit No. 2, as recorded in Book 54 of Maps
at Page 30, Official Records, Santa Clara County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 2604, adopted
March 14, 1955, is hereb~r rescinded.
The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this reso-
lution to be recor~ed in the office of the County Recorder of
Santa Clara County •

The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regnlarly
introduced and passed at a regular meeting of the Council of
the C1 ty of' Palo Al to on Monday, the 11th day of Apr11
1955, by the following vote:
