RESOLUTION NO. 2604
RESOLUTION ORDERING ABANDOiU'iENT OF EASEMENT
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto ct.id, on the
14th day 01' February, 1955, pasr, 1t3 Resolution of Intention
No. 2600_ to abandon a portion or an easement granted to the
City of Palo Alto by deed dated September 24, 1954, anu recorded
in Book 2974, Page 277, Official Records, Santa Clara Count:,·,
State of California; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said ResQlutJ..on, a public hear:i.ng was
held on March 14, 19~5; and
WHEREAS, from all the evidence submitted, the City Cou11c11
of the City of Palo Alto finds that salc.1. easement, as described
herein and in sa:i..d Resolution of Intention No. ~,u_, is no
longer necessary for· the p1.1rpose for wbicb it was acquirea and
dedicated;
NOW 'l'HEREFORE, be it resolved ttlat the council of the City
of Palo Al to hereby orders the abandon .. 11ent oi' alJ. that portion
of the 60·-i'oot strip 01' J.and described in the deed dated Septem
ber 24, 1954, reccrdeo. 1n Book 29'{4, Page 277, Official Records,
S&nta Clar·a County, State of Calii'orn.1.a, tnat lies w1 th1n tne
boundaries of' Elmdale Drive and Elmdale Court., as said Elmdale
Drive and Elmdale Court are designated upon the map of Tract
Ho. 13S3, Elmdale Unit No. 2, as recorded in Book -~4. of Maps
at Page 30 , 01'.t'icia'.I. Rec:a1"<1s, ~-:;a.-rca Clara County.
The City Clerk shall cause a certil'ieu copy of this reso-
lut1or, to be r.ecordeu in the office of the Cour.ty Recorder of
Santa Clara County .

introduced and passed at a regular meeting cf the Council of' the
