referred to and generally deaor1bed, which 1• oont1guoua to tbe
City or Palo Alto; and

recollllM!ndation; and

territory shall be annexed and the property in the territory

date or the tiling or the petition for annexation for the acqui-

NOW THEREFORE, the counc11 of thl· Clty or Palo Alto does
resolve as follows:
Section 1. That consent be and hereby is granted for the
commencement 01' annexation proceedinge in connection with said
1nhabi ted territory in accordance with the An.'lexation Act or
1913, provided t ile petition for annexation contains a request
that t he question to be subrJitted to the electors ~siding in
the territory proposea to be an.'lexeu shall be whether the ter-
r1tory shall be annexed arid the property i u the tert'itory i;ub-
jected tc. taxation after annexation equally with property within
the City or Palo Alto to pay the bonded indebtedness Of the City
of Palo Alto outstanding or authorize.:i at the date of the 1'1ling
of the petitio11 for annexation for the acquisition, constructiori
and completion of municipal improvements.
