HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 2576RB.SOLUTION NC. 2576 RESOLUTION DECLARING WEBDS TO EE A NUISANCE RESOLVED, oy the Counci l of the City of Palo Alto, that WHKREAS, c~rta1n weedB are growing in the Cit y of Palo Alto upon the various s treets, alleyB, sidewalks, and upon private ~roperty wi thi n said mun1c1psl1ty, which seld weede bear eeeds or a wi ngy or downy nature, or which may attain euch large growth ae to become, when dry, a f!re menace, or which are otherwise nox,.oue and dangerous; and WHEREAS , ~aid weeds conetitut e a public nU!sance; NC'IW, THEREFORE, I T IS H&REBY DECLA!W.'""'D that said weeds do now cone.ti tute and .,ill continue to c~nst1 t•.lte a public nuisance, and it is ordered that the aaij public nui~ance be abated i n the man..er provi ded by Article 3~A of Codified Ordinance No. 5 of the City or Pa l_o Alto, and 1'.hat said nuisance e~ists upon. a l l of the streets, alleys, sidewalks, and private property wi thin said city, as ehown, de~cribed and delineated on the several maps -of the properties in said city w~1ch are r~corded in the office of 'the County 'Recoro~l' of the County of Santa Clara, l'eferP.nce i n each instance for the description of any pertic\llar street, alley, or p!'ivate ;)roperty being hereby m~de to the s everal maps aforesaid, and, in the event of there l>e1ng_ several.subdivieion maps on which the same lots are shown, reference iB hereby n:ade to the.latest subdivision map .
