rmSOLUTION CONFIRMING THE CI'rY ENGINEER'S REPORT
J\ND ASSESSMENT LIST FOR \.JEED ABATEMENT
WJlliHEAS, the City EnGineer has filed with the City Clerk
his ~eport and assessment list for weed abatement as provided
in Article 23 (a) of Codified Ordinance No. 5; a.nd
WHERE.AS 1 a hearing has been called for August 91 :i.954, for
hearing any objections to said report and assessment list; and
• WHEREAS, the City Clerk hao published and posted a notice
of said hearing as provided j·.n said ord:tnance; and
VJBEREAS, pursuant to aa.id notice, a public hearing was • held on August ~~ 1954; and
WHF~aEAS, nc. written or oral protests or '-'bjection!5 against
said a.OJsessment for weed abatement were presented before or at
the tlme fixed fo:c h~aring a11d the Council having duly cons1-
de red said report and assessment list;
~mw THERR!<'ORE1 the Council of the City of Palo Alto hereby
resolves, finds and determines as follows:
1. Tha.t said assessment list is in a::.l respects comple~te
and correct, and :ls hereby confj.rmed, and that sinG2 the f.i.ling
thereof no ~sscssncnts have been paid.
2. That for a partic~lar description of the lot5 bParing
the respective ~saessment numbers set forth in said assessment
lis·~ and upon which assessments remain unpaid, severally and
• respectively1 reference is hereby made to said assessment list
in the ofl'ice of the Superintendent or Public rJo:r.ks after con-
firmation by said Council.
3. That the unpaid assessments as shown on satd list and •
(ie'i;e:nnined by said Council shall constitute a special assess-
ment against such respective lots or parcels of land she-wn there-
in, and shall constitute a lien against such property for the
