RESOLUTION NO. -~
• RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO THE
CITIZENS HOSPITAL COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the citizens of Palo Alto have appr~ved an ie'su~ of
bonds for the enlargement and improvement of the Palo Alto Hospi-
tal by an unprecedented plurality; and
WHEREAS, this result is due very largely to the efforts or
• the Citizens Hospital Committee which devoted its time and funds
to this end and was so generously supported by a large numt:er of
organizations and some six wundred and sixty volunteers;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto .;i(1es •
resolve as follows: .,. •
That t})e gratitude and a~preciation of the Council anc. of
the people of the City of Palo Alto be extended to all memt,ers

of the Citizens Hospital Committee, its assistants, partiCl.ilarly

members of the Steering Committee, and to all those unnamec1 volun-
