HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 2534·;··.r .,. •Go • • f ... 4 RESOLUTION NO. -~ • RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO THE CITIZENS HOSPITAL COMMITTEE WHEREAS, the citizens of Palo Alto have appr~ved an ie'su~ of bonds for the enlargement and improvement of the Palo Alto Hospi- tal by an unprecedented plurality; and WHEREAS, this result is due very largely to the efforts or • the Citizens Hospital Committee which devoted its time and funds to this end and was so generously supported by a large numt:er of organizations and some six wundred and sixty volunteers; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto .;i(1es • resolve as follows: .,. • That t})e gratitude and a~preciation of the Council anc. of the people of the City of Palo Alto be extended to all memt,ers . of the Citizens Hospital Committee, its assistants, partiCl.ilarly Warren S. Cook, Chairman of. the Committee, Dr.~ v. §c. Paciul.:e, Dr. Harold c. Sox, Mr. Ralph G. Cahn and Mrs. William A. M1.idgett, . ' members of the Steering Committee, and to all those unnamec1 volun- teei'S whose tireless and unselfish efforts contributed in fiuch .. great measure to the success o:f the hospital bond drive; ~ ~ That the City Clerk send a copy of this resolution tc the • ..
