HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 2525RESOLUTION NO. ~ RESOLUTION FINDING THAT THE PARKING NEEDS OF BLOCKS 13, 22 AND 29 AND PORTIONS OF BLOCKS 11, 20 AND 38 HAVE BEEN MET. WHEREAS, the City Council has exercised options or has filed actj,ons in eminent domain for the pu~ose of acquiring property • for public off-street parking lots in certain blocks in the City of Palo Alto; and WHEREAS, Sectio11 21.07 of Ordinance No. 1324, the "Zoning Ordi:1ance,11 provides that the City Council may. by resolution, detemine that the off-street parking needs of any block or group of bloc!(B within a parking project have been met and that plans for parking lots in a·uch blocks shall sv.persede the require- mentf:l of the "S" District; • NOW, TF.ERE!i'ORE, BE :.tT RESOLVED by the Counci:i. of the City of • Palo Alto: . 1. That off-street parking needs of the following blocks in• Project No. 52-14 have been met: a. Those three blocks bounded by Hamilton Avenue, Ramona Street, Forest Avenue and ~iaverley Stl".aet, being Block 22,and the'northeasterly portion of Block 11, Uni- versity Park. I b. That block bounded by waverley Street, Hamilton Avenue, Cowper Street and University Avenue, being Block 29, University Park. c. 'That block bounded by Lytton Avenue, Florence Street, University Avenue and Waverley Street, being the southwesterly portion of Block 20, University Park. d.
