Section 3. That notice is hereby given that Monday, the
lOth day of May, 1954, at the hour ot 7:30p.m., at the Council
Chambers ot the City Council ot said City, in the Clty Hall, Palo
Alto, California, be and the same is hereby set as tb~ day, hour
and place where and when any and Ill persona hav1ns &nJ Ob.1ect1ona
0 . to the proposed abandonment may appear before aa14 Council and
abow cause why aaid easement should not be abandoned.
Section 4. That the Palo Alto Times, a daily newspaper of
gene~al ciroulation, published and circulated in the City ot Palo
Alto, is hereby designated as the newspaper in which the City
Clerk ot the City ot Palo Alto shall cause to be published 1n the
manner and torm required by law, a copy or this Resolution ot
Intention, by causing the same to be published in said ne~spaper
tor at lenat·~'fo {2.) successive weeks prior to the c1ate of the
hearing ot objections to the proposed abandonment.
§ect1on ~ That the Superintendent ot Streets ot th~ said
City" ot Palo Alto' shall cause to be conspicuously posted along
the line ot the easement proposed to be vacated notices ot ·t;he
paasage ot this Resolution ot Intention. Said notices ~hall be
posted not more than 300 feet apart but at least three (3) notices
shall be posted.
Por further intonnation as to the location and dtSQription
or the easement to be vacated, reference is made to a map entitled
"Basement Abandonment, Portion ot Mayfield. Outtall Sewer, Lot 119,
Wooster Sub<i.," being Drawing No. 12,628 on tile 1n the office ot
the City Clerk.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and pcaeed at a regular meeting of the Council ot the
City ot Palo Alto on Monday, the 12th day ot April , 1954,
by the following vote:
