RESOLUTION HO. 2520 _
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF lr.'UTED STATES BONDS
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does resolve as follows:
That W. c. Cobb, City Treasurer, be and he hereby is authorized
to purchace $70,000.00 u. S. Treasury Bills due June 3, 1954, at
1.02% discov:1t basis for $69,819.5~, said bondsto be held in lieu
of cash and int~r~st credited to the Palo Alto Municipal Golf
Course Fund.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regvlarly
introduced and passed by the Councll of the City of Palo Alto at
a regular meeting held on the ~!_ day of ___ Mar~h , 1954, by
the following vote:
AYES: Bishop, Byxb_ee, Corcoran,, Cummings, Hanley, Huston,
Marshall, Mitchell, PortE~r, Rodgl9re, Simpson, Wick~tt.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Cashel, Drysdale, Ruppenthal. ~
