WHEREAS, pursuant to the 11Anr1exation of Uninhabited Territory
Act or 1939~ 11 thel:·e has been presented to t:he Co·~ncil of the City
of Palo Alto a petition executed by Borden's Dairy Delivery Com-
pany, Division of the Borden Company~ l'equeat:tng tbe annexation

of that certain territory situated in the County o:r Santa Clara,
State of California, de~cr~bed as follows:

Peninsula Garden Farms, which Hap was filed.for
record in the office of the; Re~order of the • County
of Santa Clara, State of Califoi:•nia Hay 8, 191.;.4 in
Book 7 of Napa, at pages 46 and 47;
WHEREAS, said territory is uninhCl.b1ted, unincol.,p•:>rated t.=-r-
ritory contiguous to tr1e City of Palo Alto; and :.
WHEREAS, said petition is executed by the owne~rs or not less
than one-fourth of tl1e land in such terri tory by a.r•ea and assessed
value on the l~~t equalized assessment roll 6r the County of Santa
Clara, State of California, in which such territ<)ry is situated;
and~
WHEREAS, the Count.y Boundary Commission of Santa Clara County,
California, has approved the proposed annexation bou.ndaries of said
property;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT P.ESOLVED by the Council of tl·.e City of
Palo Alto:
