Council to mod1ty the preliminary proceedings under Resolution Mo.
2382 of Preliminary Deter~nation, adopted October 27, 1952, ae

1. Add the acquisition ot the following property as orr-street
automobile parking lots and the improYing or aa.a by grading and
the con.atruetion therein or pave .. nt, curbs, gutters, sewerage and
drainage rac111tiea and a lighting ayatew together with all acqui-
si tiona, improvements, racili·ti~a and eQI.liPMnt auxiliary ther.to
and necessary to co•plete same:
(a) Block 3t& The southeasterly 10 feet or the aouthwest-
erly 12.5 teo€ ot t 56 and all or Lot 68, or Nelson u. Birds
Subdivision or Block 37 1 University Park, recorded April 3, 1889
in Book "D" or Mapa at page 89, Santa Clara County Records.
(b) Block t8. The southeasterly 2.5 feet or the northwest-
erly 105 teet ofhe northeasterly 93 teet ot th• southwesterly 200
feet ot Lot 1, Block 38, University Park.
(e) Block 2~. The southeasterly 9 teet or the northeaster-
ly 51 feet or tOt, and the southeasterly 9 reet or the southwest-
erly 1~3 feet of Lot ~~ and the southwesterly 1.5 teet ot the north-
easterly 40 feet or the no~thweaterly 93 teet of the southeasterly
100 feet of Lot 2, and the southeasterly 1 root or the northwesterly

2. The work and proceedings hereby proposed to be undertaken
are aubJect to all or the provisions or Resolution No. 2382 ot Pre-
liainary Determination, to which resolution reference is aade for further particulars.
3. Notice is hereby given that Monday, the 27th day or April, 1953, at the hour or 7:30 o'clock P.M., at the Council Chambere
or the Council in the City Hall, are hereby t1xe4 ae tht time and
place when and where any and all persona interested may appear and
show cause, if any they have, why the Council should not find and
determine that the public convenience and necessity require the
acquisition and improvements described and referred to 1n this
~solution without further compliance with the Special AaeeaaMent
Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act or 1931, as pro-
vided 1n Article I of the Palo Alto Improve .. nt Procedure Code.

4. The City Clerk shall give notice or the adoption or
th1a resolution by publishing a Notice of Modit1cat1on or Notice
ot Proposed Local Iaprove .. nt once in the Palo Alto Ti .. a~ a daily
newapaper published and circulated in said City and by posting
aa .. on or near the Council Chaaber door, aa1d poatins ar1d publi-
cation to be at least ten days betore the date or hearing.
