RESOLVED, b7 the Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, that
WHIRBAS, the Council 414 on the 26th d&J or Januarr,
1953, adopt ita Resolution or Intention No. 2404 to order certain
acq·uie1 tiona anci 1mprove•nta to be ~~ad.e in said Ci t:y, under and p~J.rau&nt to Article V or Or<tinance No. ~-or said City, adopted
January 13, 1941, entitled "Palo Alto IIIProvement Procedure Code",
and. to issue bonds pursuant to Part •, Bond Plan C ot Article IV
ot said Ordinance No. 8.4, reference to which reaolution 1a hereby
.ade tor a particular description or the acquisitions and 1aprove-
menta to be .ade, the boundaries or the aaseae .. nt district and
the bonds to be 1aaued;
WHEREAS, aai4 Resolution or Intention Mo. 240-has been
duly published twice in the Palo Alto Tiaea, a newspaper or
general circulation Printed and publj,ahed in said City, wherein

all persona interested, having any objections to the proposed
acquisitions and improve .. nta, or against the district to be
asaeaaed ror the costa and expenses thereof, or the Engineer's
estimate or the coats and expenaea tbereor, or against the grades
at which said work shall be done, or againet the diagram or aaaeaa-
ment, were notified or the t1 .. and place or the hearing aa con-
tained in said Resolution or Intention; said Resolution or
Intention was duly published within the t1-a and 1n the .anner
provided in said Improve.ant Procedure Code, and aa directed by
said Resolution or Intention, as r.ppearo from the artidavi t or
publication on tile in the office of the City Clerk of aa1d City;
WHBREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing
no protests or objections were made or presented to
the proposed acquisition' and i•provea.nta, or to the district
to be assessed, or to th~ grades at which aaid.work waa to be
done, or to the bonds to be issued to pay the coats and expenses
thereot, or to the Bngineerra ••t1mate of the costa and exPenses
t~ot, or against the diagram or saaeaament, and all persona
interested desiring to be heard w•»e given an opportunity to be
heard, and all matters and things pertaining to said proposed
acquisitions and improvements were duly heard and considered by

2. That the mapa and descriptions or the lands and
eaae .. nta to be acquired be, and they are hereby,tinally adopted
and approved.
