RF20LUTION ORDERING THE CLOSING AND ABANDONMENT
OP EASEMENT IN LOT 1, IN BLOCK 220, TRACT NO.
241, KNOW?~ AS THE PRICE TRACT.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City or Palo Alto did on the
8th day of Octob~r, 1952, pass its Resolution of Intention No.
2379 to order the follow111g work and impro·4'ement done in said city, to wit:
That that portion of a public ~t111t1es ea8ement
1n Lot 7, Block 220, Tract No. 241, known as
the Price Tra~t. in the City of Palo Alto, more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the moat !aaterly corner of Lot
7 in Block 220 as said Lot and Block are shown
upon that certain map entitled 11 Tract No. 241,
Price Tract" recorded Dec. 71 1946, in Book 8
of Maps at pages 12 and 13, Records of Santa
Clara County, California; thence from said point
of commencement N. 54° 45 1 E. along the North-
weeterly line of said lot 45.86 feet; thence s.
51 45• F.,, parallel to the Northeasterly line of
said lot 5.21 feet; t~ence S. 54° 45' w. 49.13
feet to the ~~uthwesterly line or said Lot;
thence N. 35 15' W. along said Southwesterly
line 5.00 feet to the point or commencement.

A!\'D, WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets did thereupon
cau~e notice of the passage of said Reaolutlo~ of Intention to
./ be posted 1n the form and manner required by l:1w; and,
WHEREAS, the City Clerk cauoed a similar notice to be pub-
lished twice in the Palo Alto Times, a daily newBpaper published
and circulated in the City or Palo Alto, which newspaper was
d~eignated 1n said Resolution or Intention No. 2379 by the Council
as the official newspaper in which said notice should be published,
and,
WHEREAS, no object:1.ons have been filed against aa1d pro-
posed work and improvement and more than 10 days have elapsed
after the •~irat1on o:f the 'publ1c:;at1ort of.:··sa1d notice and the
passage of ea1c1 Resolution of Intention, and the City Council ha:!\
acquired ji.i.risdiction to order ea1d work and improvement as pro-posed:
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto DOES
RESOLVE as follows:
That that portion or a public ut111t1es easement in Lot
7, of Block 220, Tract No. 241, known as the Price Tract, in the
City of Palo Alto, as here1nabove described,
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned.

The above and foregoing resolution waa duly and regularly
introduced and passed at a re~ular meeting of the Council of the
City or Palo Alto held on the 27th day of October, 1952, by the following vote:
