CONFIRMING AMBNDKD ASSESSMENT
AMARILLO AVENUE ET Ar.
PROJECT NO. 49-10
RESOLVED, by the Counc11 of the C1ty of Palo Alto that
WHEREAS, said Coun~11 did on the 22nd day or September, 1952,
order the City Engineer to make and file with said Council an amended
assessment or the parcel of property the rormer assessment upon which
•mder Resolution of Intention No. 2089 or said Council is designated
upon the original assessment and diagram and conf1rm~d by said Council
on August 27 1 1951 1 and recorded in the orr1ce of the Superintendent
or Streets or said City, as diagram and assessment No. 99;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer on the 23rd day of September, 1952,
pursuant to said order, filed with the Clerk or said c~ty an amended assessment and diag~am;
WHEREAS, said Council fixed Wednesday, the 8th day of October,
1952, as the t1me for hearing said amended asa~ssment and caused
notice or 3aid hearing to be publi&hed · twice in tho Palo Alto Times,
as appears fro~ the affidavit of publication on file in the office or the Clerk or said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for sa1d hearing, no
protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to sa1J
amended assessment were fully heard and considered by said Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment
filed with the Clerk of said City pursuant to resolution ordering
same be end the same ia h~reby ratified, approved and confirm~d.
IT IS f'URTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of said City shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together with ~ certified copy of this resolution thereto attached, and said City
Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment with a
certificate at the end thereof by the Cle~k or said City that it is
the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the assessment in sald
original asaessn~nt No. 99 that it has been dleplaced by said amended
assessment, giving the dat~: and shall credit open said amended
assessment all payments theretofore made upon the original assessment.
When said amended assessment has been recorded, the City Engineer shall
cause the or1g1nal assessment involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the Council of the City of Palo Alto at an
adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 8th day of October, 1952, by the following vote:
