RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto that
WHEREAS, said Council did on the 22nd day of September, 1952,
order the City Engineer to make and file with said Council an
amended assessment of the parcel or property the former assessment
upon which under Resolution of Intention No. 1833 or said Council
is designated upon the original assesem~nt and diagram and
confirmed by said Council on April 12, 1949, and recorded in the
office of the Superintendent of Streets of said City, as diagram
and assessment No. 676;
WHEREAS~ said City Engineer on the 23rd day of September, 1952,
pursuant to sa1~ order, filed w1th tne Clerk or Ha1G City an amended
assessment and diagram;
WHERBA3, said Council fixed Wednesday, the 8th day of October,
1952, as the time r~r hearing said amended assessment and caused
notice of said hearing to be published twice in the Palo Alto Times,
as appears from the affidavit of publication on file in the office
of the Clerk of said City; and
WHBREA.S, at the time and place fixed for said hearing, no
protests or objections were made or presented to the propose~
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to said
amended assessment were fully heard and considered by said Council;
NOW, THERBFOR!J IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment
filed with the Clerk of said City pursuant to resolution ordering
same be and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of said City shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, t~gether
with a certified copy of this resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment
with a certificate at ta end thereof by the Clerk of said City
that it is the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the assessment in said
original diagram and assessment No. 676 that it haR been displaced
by said amended asaes~ment, giving the date, and shall credit upon
said amended assessment all payments theretofore made upon the
original assessment. 'When said amended assessment has been recorded,
the City Engineer shall cause the ortg1.nal assessment involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the Cou.~cil of the City of Palo Alto at an
ad.journed regular mee t~.ng thereo1~ held on the 8th day of October,
1952, by the following vote:
AYES: Bishop, Blois, Cashel, Drysdale, Hill, ~~rshall, Mitchell,
Montrou11, Simpson, Welle, Wickett.
NOES: None.
