as follows: The City Council of the City or Palo Alto does resolve ~
THAT, pursuant to Section 35304.5 of the Government ¥ ...
Code of the State of California, said C!ty Council does hereby l·
consent to the annexat1~n to the City or Mountain View of the ,
following described area of real property situated within three •·
m1lea of the boun<1ar1es of aaid City or Mountain View; said real pro-
perty neing described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point ln the Northeasterly line of Alma
Street, said point being the point of intersection of said North-
easterly line and the Northeasterly prolongation or the North-
westerly line of Eecuela Avenue and also being a 1'>01nt ln the
city limits as ahown on that certain Map of "Annexation of Alma
Addition No. 2,11 dated May 1951; thence Southwesterly along said
city limits to the intersection with the Southwesterly line or
saia Alma Street; thence Northwesterly along the sa1d Southwesterly
line of Alma Street in all its various courses and distances to its
intersection with the Southwesterly prolongation of the North-
westerly line of Calderon Avenue, as shown on "Map of the Ala1p
Subdivision," as recorded in Book "H" of Maps, at Page 63, Santa
Clara County Records; thence Northeasterly along said pld.ongat1on
of said Northwesterly line of Calderon Avenue and the Nor;thwester-
ly line or Calderon Avenue to its intersection with the Northeas-
terly line of that certain 26.97 acre tract of land described 1n
the Deed from Elizabeth Morton, et al, to Welton J. Crook and
Maud L. Crook, his wife, dated October 20, 1938, recorded December
2, 1938 1n Book 906 or Official Records, Page 177, Santa Clara
County Records; thence NorthweBterly 717.72 feet, more or less, to
a 2 1/2" iron pipe at the most Northerly eorner of said Crook prop-
erty, said point being on the Northwesterly line of Lot 9, in said
Alsip Subdiv1s1on and also on the Northeasterly line of that 50
acre tract or land, more or less, conveyed by Marguerite Pr1or and
A. A. Prior, her husband, to Philip Cosauto and Madeline Cossuto,
h1s wife. by Deed dated March 2, 1945, recorded March 6, 1945,
in Book 1245 of Official Records at Page 422, Santa Clara County
Records; thence Southwesterly along the common boundary line or
aaid Als1p's Subdivision and said 50 acre tract 925 feet, more
or less, to the m~st Easterly co~ner of that certain tract of
land as shown on the "Map or Partition of the 50 acre tract, owned
by Gud.Jeppe Ara ts., et al, in the Ral'leho Rincon de San Franc1squ1tc,"
as recorded 1n Book "H" of Maps, at Page 93, Santa Clara County
Records; thence Northwesterly along the boundary line of said
Ai-ata Partition 1559.20 feet, more or less, a point at the South-
easterly city limits or the City or Palo Alto; thence Northeasterly
along said city 111111 ta to 1 ts intersection w~. th the Southwee terly
line of that certain 11.54 acre tract of land described in the
deed from Philip Cossuto, et ux, to Albert John Puccinell1, et 1Lx,
dti. ted October 11, 1948, recorded October 26, 1948,, in Book 1695

thence Southeasterly along the boundary line or said 11.54 acre
tract of land 926.73 feet, more or less, to the most soutberly
corner of said 11.54 acre tract; thence Northeasterly along the
Southeasterly line of said 11.54 acre tract 471.26 feet, more or
less, to a 1/2" iron pipe at the Northeasterly corner or land as
described in the Deed from Ph111p Cossuto, et ux, to John E.

THAT aa1a City Council does hereby ratify and approve
any consent which might have been given by the city manager of ea1d
city to said City of Mountain View;
THAT said City Council does hereby waive any objections
to such proposed annexation which might exist under said Section
35304.5 of the Government Code of the State of California.
The foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted at a regu~ar meeting or the City Council held on the 22nd
day of September, 1952 by the follow1ng roll call vote:

Gaspar, Hill, Marshall, Miller, M1tch~ll,

NOES: Councilmen None.
