RKSOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OP PALO ALTO ADOPTING .BUDGET AND
APPROVING F'IMT SUPPLBMKNTAL RBMORANDUM
OP AGRJmMINT FOR D'PBNDITURE OP GAS TAX
ALLOCATION FOR MAJOR CITY STREB'l'S.

WHEREAS, a r1rat supplemental memorandum of agreement has
been presented to be entered into w1th the State ot California
in accordftnce with a project statement submitted by the City or
Palo Alto for expenditure or the gas tax allocation to c1t1ea for
the fiscal year 1953, and
WHRREAS, the city council has heard read said agreement 1n
full and 1a familiar with the contents thereof; 1
THEREFORE~ BE IT R.BSOLV!ro by th~~City Council or the City
of Palo Alto that said project statement be and it is hereby
adopted as the budget or proposed expenditures or the gas tax al-
location to cities, and said agTeement be and the same 1a hereby
approved and the mayor and the city clerk are directed to sign the
same on behalf of said City, said agreement to be g1nd1ng upon the
City upon its executlon by the authorized officials of the State.
Adopted this 8th day of September, 1952.
