RESOLVED, by the Council of the City or Palo Alto that
WHKRKAS, said Council did on the 28th day or July, 1952,
order the C1ty Bng1neer to make and file with said Council an
amended assessment or the parcel or property the former assessment
upon which under ResoJ.ution of Intention No. 2223 of ea1d Council
1a des1gnated i.rpon the original assessment and diagram and
confirmed by sa1d Council on March 24, 1952, and recorded in the
office or the Superintendent of Streets of said City, as d1agr~m and assessment No. 5;
WHE.REA.S~ said City Engineer did on the 12th day of August,
1952, pursuant to said order, file with the Clerk or said City
an amended assessment and diagram;
WHEREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 25th day cf August,
1952, as the time for hearing said amended assessment and caused
notice of said hearing to be published twice in the Palo Alto
Times, as appears from the affidavit of publication on file in the office or the Clerk or said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing, no
protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to said
amended assessment were fully heard and considered by said Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERXD that sald amended assessment
filed with the Clerk of said City pursuant to resolution ordering same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of sa~d City shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with a certified copy of this resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment
with a certificate at the end thereof by the Cle~k of said City
that it is the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the assessment 1n
said original diagram and assessment No. 5 that 1t has been
displaced by said amended assessment, giving the date, and shall
credit upon aa1d amended assessment all payments theretofore made
upon the original assessment. When said amended assesoment has
been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the origlnal
assessment involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resoluti~n was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City or Palo Alto
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 25th day of August, 1952,
by the follow1ng vote:
