I~ r ~ ~.- l~ R E S 0 L U T I 0 N ----------:N 0 • 236JJ CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT SAN ANTONIO ANNEX SEWERS PROJECT NO. 51-5 RESOLVED, by the Council of the City or Palo Alto that WHEREAS, said Council d1d on the 11th day or August,1952, order the City Engineer to make and file with said Council an amended assessment of the parcel of property the former assessment upon which under Resoiut1on of Intention No. 2094 or said Council is designated upon the original assessment and diagram and confirmed by said Council on June 11, 19521 and recorded 1n the office of the Superlntendent of Streets or said City, as diagram and assessment No. 605; WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the 12th day of August, 1952, pursuant to said order, file with the Clerk or said City an amended asseeement and diagram; WHEREAS> said Council fixed Monday, the 25th day of August, 1952, as the t1me for hearing said amended assesement and caused notice of aaid hearing to be published twice 1n the Palo Alto Times, as appears from the affidavit of publication on file in the office of th.a Clerk of said City; ancl WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing, no protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to ea1d amended assessment were fully hearo and considered by said Council; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment filed w1th the Clerk of said City pursuant to resolution ordering same be and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed. It 1s further ordered .• that the Clerk of said City shall deliver said amended assessment to the C1ty Engineer, together with a. certH'ied copy of this resolution thereto attached, and ssid City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City that 1t 1s the amended assessment approved by the City Council. The City Engineer shall note opposite the assessment 1n said original diagram and assessment No. 605 that it has been displaced by said amended assessment, giving the date, and 5hall credit upon sa1d amended assessment all payments theretofore made upon the original assessment. When said amended'assessment hlts been recorded, the City Engineer shall ca.use the original assessment involved to be cancelled. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto at a regular meeting thereof held on the 25th day of August, 1952, by the following vote: AYES: NOF.S: Blois, Bower, Cathcart, Drysdale, Ga:par, Hill, Marshall, Miller, Mitchell, Montreuil, Wells, Wickett.
