RE.SOLVED, by the Counc11 of ·the City of Palo Alto that
WHKREA..<l, said Council d1d on the 11th da~r of Auguet, 1952,
order th& C!ty Engineer to make and file with said Council an
a .. nded assessment of the parcel or p~operty the former assessment
upon which under Resolution of Intention No. 1833 of said Council
is designated upon the original assessment and diagram and
confirmed by said Counc~l on Apr11 12 1 1949, and recorded in the
office of the Superntend.ent or Streets of aa1d City, as diagram
and aseessm~nt No. 323-A, 323-B and 323-C;
WHIRKAS, said City Engineer d:J.d on the 12th day or August,
1952, pursuant to aa1d ord~r, file with the Clerk of e&1d City an amended assessment and diagram;
WHEREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 25th day of August,
1952, as the time for hearing said amended assessment and caused
notice of sa1.d hearing to be published twice in the Palo Alto
Times, as app~are from the affidavit of publication on file in the office of the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing, no
protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to said
amended assessment were fully heard and considered by said Co\mcj.l;
NOW, THERE.FORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment
filed with the Clerk or said City pursuant to resolution ordering
same be ltld the same is h~reby ratifiod, approv1!d and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of caid City shall del1v~r said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with a certified copy of this resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment
with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City
that it is the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer ahall note opposite the assessment in said
original diagram and assessment Noa. 323-A, 323-B and 323-C that
they have been displaced by said amended assessment, giving the
date, and shall credit upon said amended assessment all payments
theretofore made upon the original assessment. When said amended
assessment has been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the
original assessment involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regul&rly adopted by the City Council of the City or Palo Alto
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 25th day of August, 1952,
by the following vote:
AYES: Blois, Bower, Cat~cart, Drysdale, Gaspar, Hill, Marshall,
Miller, Mitchell, Montrouil, Wells, Wickett.
NOES: Noue.
ABSENT: Bishop, Cashel~ Simpson. ,.....
