RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCHANGE OF SECURITIES
The Council of the City of Palo Alto DOES RESOLVE as follows:
That W. C. Cobb, City Treasurer, be and he is
hereby authorizttd to exchange $500,000.00 U. S. Treasury
Billa, l 7/8% due September 1, 1952, for $500,000.00
U. S. Treasury Certificates of Indebtedness, Series C of
1953, dated August 15, 1952, to mature August 15, 19~)3, at 2% per annum.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and passed by the Counc11 or the C1ty
of Palo Alto at a regular meeting held on the 11th day or
August, 1952, by the following vote:
AYES: Blois~ Bower, Cashel, Cathcart, Drysdale, Gaspar,
Hill, Marshall, Mitchell, Montreuil, Simpson, Wells, Wickett.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Bishop, Miller. ~-AP~Rom>:;:Y::-
