N 0 • .fill CONFIRMING AMINDBO ASSESSMENT CALIFORNIA AVBNUB ALLEYS PROJICT NO. -8c9 447 RBSOLVKO, by the Council ot the City of Palo Alto that WHKRBAS, aaid Council did on the 14th day ot July, 1952, order the City Engineer to make and file with eaid Council an amended assessment or the parcel or property the foru1er aaaeaament upon which under Resolution of Intention No. 1721 of aaid Council is designated upon the original assessment and diagram and cont1l"llftd by sa1d Council on March 13, 1950, and recorded in the office or the Superintendent or Streets of said City, as diagram and assess-ment No. 33; WHEREAS, said City Engineer did nn the 15th day of July, 1952, pursuant to said order, file with the elerk of said City an amended diagram and assessment; WHEREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 28th day or July, 1952, as the time tor hearing said amended assessment and caused notice of said hearing to be pbbl1shed twice 1n the Palo Alto Times, as appears from the affidavit or publication on file 1n the orr1ce or the Clerk or said City; and WHEREAS, at the t1me and place fixed for said hearing, no proteote or objections were made or presented to the proposed amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to said amended assessment were fully heard and considered by aaid Council; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment filed with the Clerk or said City pursuant to resolution ordering same be and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of ea1d City 8ha!l deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together with a cert1fled copy of this resolution thereto attached, and sa1d City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended aeaesement with a cert1t1e4te at the end thereof by the Clerk or said City that 1t is the amended assessment approved by the City Council. The City Engineer shall note opposite the assessment 1n said original diagram and assessment No. 33 that it has been dis- placed by said amended assessment, g1v1ng the date, and &hall credit u,on said amended assessment all payments theretofore made upon the original assessment. When said amended assessment has been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original aaaeasment involved to be cancelled. I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council or the City of Palo Alto at a regular meeting thereof held on the 28th day or July, 1952, by the following vote: AYES: NOF-5: Blois, Cashel, Cathcart, Dryadale, Hill, Marshall, Miller, Mitchell, Montrou11, Simpson, Wells, Wickett.
