RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto that
WHEREAS, said Council did on the 14th day or July, 1952,
order the City Engineer to make and file with aaid Council an
amended aeseesment or the parcel or property the former assessment
upon wh1ch under Resolution or Intention No. 1506 of said Council
1s designated upon the original assessment and diagram and contirtted
by said Council on December 13, 19-8, and recorded in the office
or the Superintendent or Streets or said C1ty, as diagram and
assessment No. 3-7;
WHEREAS, ea1d City Engineer did on the 15th day or July,
1952, pursuant to said order, file with the clerk ot A~id City
an amended diagram and assessment;
WHEREAS1 said Council fixed Monday, the 28th day of July,
1952, as the time for hearing said amended assessment and caused
notice of said hearing to be published twice 1n the Palo Alto Times,
as appears from the affidavit or publication on file in the office
or the Clerk or sa1.d City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for sa1d hearing, no
protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to said
amended assessment were fully heard and considered by said Council;
' NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that ea1d amended assessment
filP.d with the Clerk of said City pursuant to resolution ordering
name be and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of said C1ty shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer~ together with
a certified copy of this resolution thereto attached, ~nd said
City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment with
a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City that
it 1s the amer1ded aseessnient approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer ahall note oppoe1te t~e ass~ssment in said
or1g1nal diagram and assessment No. 347 that it haa been displaced
by said amended as~esement, giving the date, and shall credit upon
said amended aseeasment all paymente theretofore made upon the
o~1g1nal ae~~&ament. When said amended assessment has been
recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original assessment
involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution was
duly and regularly adopted by the City Council or the City or
Palo Alto at a regular ~et1ng thereof held on the 28th day of July,
1952, by the following vote:
AYES: Blois, Cashel, Cathcart, Drysdale, Hill, Marshall, Miller
Mitchell, Montrou.11, Simpson, Wells, Wickett.
NOES: None. ~
ABSENT: Bishop, Bower, Gaap&r. .·~ •
