A·· @ ~· 1 RESOLUTION ·-----------!!Q. 2.340 RESOLUTION CONFIRMING REPORT AND ASSBSSMKNT LIST FOR VBBD ABATlDIENT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto that WHERIAS ·' all riotices have been published and posted 1n accordance with Ordinance No. 1313 and Article 32.A or Cod1t1ed Ordinance No. 5i and WHEREAS, no Wt'ltten or oral protests or objections against said assessment for weed abatement were preeented before or at the time fixed ror hearing; and WHKRlliS, ea1d Council has duly considered said report and assessment list; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HBRKBY BJISOLVKD, FOUND AND DETERMINED as follows: 1. That said assessment list is in all respects eo~plete and correct, and is hereby confirmed, and that since the filing thereof no aaseasmente have been paid. 2. That for a particular description or the lota bearing the respective aeaesament numbera set forth in said aeaeaement list and upon which assessments remain unpaid, severally and respect1vely6 reference 1s hereby aade to said aaaeasment list in the oft1ce or the Superintendent or Public Works arter contirma-tion by aa1d Council. 3. That the unpaid ausessmente an shown on said list and determined by said Council shall oonat1tute a special assessment against such respective lots or parcels of land shown thereinp and 8hall constitute a lien against such property tor the amount of such assessments until paid. The Assessor shall extend and enter the amounts of such assessments against the reepective parcels of land upon the 1952-1953 tax roll, upon which general munie1pal taxes are to be collected, and they shall be payable with the first installment of said taxes and the City Tax Collector shall include the same on the bills for such taxes. Thereafter such amounts shall be colll:ted at the same time and in the same manner aa general city taxes are collected, and shall be subject to the same interest and penalties, and the same procedure and sale 1n ease or delinquency. All laws and ordinances applicable to the levy, collection and enforcement or city taxes are hereby ma.de applicable to such special assessments. The above and roregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and paee•d by the Council or the City or Palo Alto at a regular meeting held on the 28th day of July# 1952, by the following vote: A.YRS: NOES: Blo1a., Cashel .• Cathcart, Dryadalei Hill, Marshall, Miller, Mitchell, Montrouil, Simpson, Wel s, Wickett.
