RESOLUTION OF THB CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PALO ALTO ADOPTING BUDGET AND
APPROVING MIMORANDUM OP AGRBBMKNT FOFt
EXRNDITURE OF GAS TAX ALLOCATION FOn
ft'.AJOR CITY STREETS.
WHEREAS, a memorandum or agreement has been presented to be entered into with the State or California ln accord-
ance with a project ataternent submitted by the City of
Palo Alto for expenditure or the gae tax allocation to c1tiee ror the r11cal year 1953, and
WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said agree-
ment in full and is familiar wlth the contents thereof;
THEREFORE, be 1t r~solved by the city council or the
City or Palo Alto that said project statement be and it is
hereby adopted as the budget or proposed expenditures of the gas
tax allocation to e1t1ea, and aa1d agreement be and the same
is hereby approved and the mayor and the city clerk are
directed to a1gn the aame on behalf of said City, aaid
agreement to be binding upon the City iJpon its execution by the authorized off1e1ale or the State.
