CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSB'SSMENT

RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto that
WHEREAS, aa1d Council did on the 9th day of June, 1952,
order the City Engineer to make arid tile with ea1d Council an
amended aaaeD&ment or the parcel or property th• roreer aaseaament
upon whieh under Reeolution or Intention No. 1833 or eaid Council
in designated upon the original aaeesement and diagram and confirmed
by said Council on April 12, 19-9, and recorded 1n the office of
the Superintendent or Streets or aa1d City, aa d1agram and
assessment No. 286-C;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the 10th day or June, 1952,
pursuant to said order, file with the Clerk of ea1d City an
amended aeaesement and diagram;
WHEREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 14th day of July,
1952, as the time for hearing said amended aaseaament and caused
notice or said hearing to be published twice in the Palo Alto
Times, as appears from the affidavit or publication on file 1n
the office of the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing, no
protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed.

amended assessment were fully heard and considered by said Counc11'
NOW, THEREFOBB, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment
filed with the Clerk or said City pursuant to resolution ol:'der1ng
same be and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of said City shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together with
a certified copy of ~his resolution thereto attached, and said
City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment with
a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of eaid City that
it is the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall no·te oppos1 te the assessment 1n said
original diagram and assessment No. 286-C that it hae been
displaced by said amended aaae~sment, giving the date and ohall
credit upon said amended assessment all payments theretofore made
upon the original assessment. When said amended assessment has
been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original
aasessment involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City or Palo Alto
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 14th day ot July, 1952,
by the rollow1ng vote:
AYES: Bishop, Blo1a, Bower, Cashel, Cathcart, Drysdale, Gaspar,
Miller, Mitchell, Montrouil, Simpson, Wickett ..
NOES: None.
