RBSOLVBD, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto that
WHBREAS, said Council did on the 23rd. day or June, 1952,
order the City Engineer to make and r1le with eaid Council an
amended asaeaament of the parcel or property the rormer aasesament
upon which under Resolution or Intention No. 2o89 or aa1d Council
is designated upon the original assessment and diagram and confirmed
by said Council on August 27, 1951, and recorded in the office ot
the Superintendent or Streets or said City, as diagram and assessment No. 341 and 342;
WHBRBAS, aaid City Engineer did on the 2-th day or June,
1952, pureuant to said order~ file with the Clerk or said City an amended diagram and assessment;
WHERBA.S, ~aid Council fixed Monday} the 14th day of July
1952, aa the time for hearing said amended. assessment and cauMed
notice or said hearing to be published twice 1n the Palo Alto Timea 0 as appears rrom the affidavit or publication on r11e in the office
or the Clerk or said City; and
WHBRRAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing, no protests or objections were made or preaented to the proposed
amended aaaeaament, and all mattera and things pertaining to said
amended assessment were fully heard and considered by aaid Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended aaeesamant
tiled with the Clerk of said City pursuant to resolution ordering
same be and the same is hereby 1•at1:f1ed, approved and conr1rmed.
IT IS FURTH.KR ORDERED, that the Clerk or said City shall
deliver said amended aaaeasment to the City Engineer, together with
a certified copy or thjs resolution thereto attached, and aaid
City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended aaeeaament With
a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City that
1 t is the amended assessment approved b-.v· the City Council.
The City Engineer ahall note opposite the assessment 1n said
original diagram and aa1e3ament Noa. 341 and 342 that they have
been displaced by said amended aaaeeament, giving the date, and shall
credit upon said amended assessment all payments theretofore made
upon the original asneeament. When said amended assessment has
been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original asaeesment involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution was
duly and regularly adopted by the City Council or the City or Palo
Alto at a reguls.r meeting thereof held on the 14th day of July, 1952,
by the following vote:
AYES: Bishop, Blois, Bower, Caehel, Cathcart, Drysdale, Qaapar,
Miller, Mitchell, Montrou.11, Simpson, Wickett •
