RESOLVED, by the Council of the City or Palo Alto that
WHEREAS, aa1d Council did on the 9th day ot June, 1952,
order the City Bng1neer to make and file with said Council an
aaended aaseaament or the parcel of property the former aaseaement
upon which under Resolution or Intention No. 2o89 of said Council
1e designated upon the original asneesment and diagram and
confirmed by said Counoil on August 27, 1951, and recorded in
the office or the Superintendent or Streets or aa1d City, ae diagram and aaseeament No. 176;
WHEREAS, aa1d City lngineer d1d on the 10th day or June,
1952, pursuant to said order, file with the clerk or aa1d city
an amended diagram and aaeeasmentJ
WHEREAS, aaid Council fixed Monday, the 14th day of July,
1952, as the time for hearing said amended assessment and caused
notice or aa1d hearing to be published twice in the Palo Alto
Times, as appears from the aff1dav1 t or publication on fj"le in
the office or the Clerk of aa1d City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for aa1d hearing, no
protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
amended aaaeaament, and all matters and things pertaining to said
amended assessment were fully neard and considered by said Council;
NOW, THERICPORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment
filed w1 th the Clerk or said City pursua1it to ree.olut1on ordering
same to be and the same 1a hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk or said City shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with a certified copy of this resolution thereto attached, and said
City Eng1neer shall thereupon record such amended assessment with
a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk or said City that
it is the amended aeee8ament approved by the City Council.
The City Bng1neer shall note opposite the aeaeasment in
said original diagram and assessment No. 176 that it has been
displaced by said amended aeseaement, giving the date, and shall
credit upon such amended assessment all payments theretofore made
upon the original assessment. When said amended assessment has
been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original assessment involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council or the City or Palo Alto
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 14th day or July, 1952,
by the following vote:
