RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CLOSING OF A PORTION
OF WAVERLEY STREET SOUTHXAST OF LOMA VBRDB
A.VBNUB, IN THE CITY OF PALO ALTO.
WHXREAS, the Council or the City or Palo Alto did on the
9th day of June, 1952, par~ 1ta Reaolut1on of Intention No. 2313
to order the following work and improvement done in said city,
to w1t:
That a portion or Waverley Street southeast of
Loma Ve1de Avenue, as shown on that certain map
entitled, "Map or c. M. Wooster Company's Sub-
div1sj.on or the Clarke Ranch, aa recorded in Book ffo" of Maps at page 16, Santa Clara Co. Records,"
anO described as follows:
All that certain parcel of land situate 1n the County
of Santa Clara, State or Cal1rorn1a, described as follows:
Beginning at a point distant S. 52° E. 38.487
feet the center line or Waverley Street and N. 38°
E. 35.00 feet from the most weeterly corner of
Lot 29 of the C. M. Wooster Company's Subdivision
of the Clarke Ranch according to the Map thereof
filed for record in the orr1ce or the Recorder or
the Countl of Santa Clara, State er Cal1forn1a in
Volume "o of Maps, at Page 16 thereof, said most
westerly corner be1ng the intersection of the cen-
ter line of College Avenue, 40 reet wide, with the
center line of Waverley Street, 70 reet w&de, as the
eame are ehown on said Map' thence S. 52 B. 128.82
feet; southeasterly 133.93 feet along the arc of a
circle having a rad1ua 06 557.348 feet, and the cen-
ter of which bears S. 38 W. 557.348 teet from the
last designated point, to a point 1n the easterly
line or the parcel of land conveyed by John E. Muller
et wt to Joseph P. Ferrel et ux by Deed dated Novem-
ber 10, 1945 and recorded .)ecember 4, 1945 1n Book
1306 ot 0ff1c1al Records, at Page 403 thereof, or
sa1d Santa. Clara County Records, sa1d point being
distant S. 52° B. 293.70 feet along the center line or Waverley Street and N. 56° 12' B. along said
easterly line from said mat weaterl1 corner of ea1d
Lot 29; thence No. 450 29' V. 82.08 feet; thence
N. 520 W. 172.887 feet; thence northwesterly 10.99~
feet along the are. of a circle having a. rad1us or 7 .oo fe~t, and the centex· ofwh1ch'bears N. 38° E. 7.00
feet, to the point or beginning;
be closed and abandoned;
AND, VHBRE.lS, the Superintendent of Streets d.1d thereupon
cause notice 0£ the passage of said Resolution of Intention to
be post4'd 1n the form and manner required by law; and,
WHRBRA.S> the City Clerk caused a similar notice to be pub-
lished twice in the Palo Al to Times, a daily newapa.per published
and circulated in the City of Palo Alto, which newspaper was
designated i~aid Resolution of Intention No. 2313 by the Council as
the off:1.c1a.1 newspaper 1n which said notice should be publ16hed, and

Avenue, aa shown on that certain map entitled, •Ma.p or C. M.
Wooster Company's Subd1v111on or the Clarke Ranch, aa recorded in
Book "o" or Mapa at page 16, Santa Clara Co. Record.a, aa herein-above deeor1bed,
be and the earMt 1a hereby closed, vacated and abandoned.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced ar.d passed at a regular me•tg1ng of the Council or the
City or Palo Alto held on the 1-th day or July, 1952, by the following vote:
