RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CLOSING AND ABANDONMENT
OP A PUBLIC UTILITIBS EASEMENT IN STERLING GAR-
DENS SUBDIVISION NO. 3, BRING A PORTION OF THE
MAYFIELD OUTFALL SEWER RASXMRNT
WHERE.AS, the Council or the City of Palo Alto finds
that the easement hereinafter described is no longer necessary
ror the operation of •1t111t1es by the City, and should be
closed and abandoned;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council or the City of Palo Alto
DOES RESOLVE as follows:
That the following described public util1t1eb
easement be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and
abandoned:
All that certain real property situated in the City
oi' Palo Al to, County of Santa Clara, State or Cali-
fornia, deocr1~ed as follows:
Commencing at a point upon the Northeasterly line
of' Lot 125 distant Southeasterly thereon 18.02 feet
from the center line or Colorado Avenue (formerly
called Stanford Avenue) as said lines, lot and Avenue
are sh~wn upon a Map of C. M. Wooster Company's Sub-
co .

352 of Deeds at page 446, Records of Santa Cla,ra County;
(2) Deed from w. B. Nash and Susan Nash, h1a wife, J. C.
Campbell, W. H. Methson, 1''. C. Drew, C. H. Oatman and.
J. A. Mackenzie to the Town of Mayfield, dated December
18, 1909, and recorded December 23, 1909, 1n Book 349 of
Deeds at page 367, Records of Santa Clara County; thence from
said point of commencement Southeasterly along said North-
easterly line 7.00 feet; thence Southwesterly and perpen-
dicularly to said North~asterly line 268.87 feet; thence
Northwesterly and parallel to aaid Northeasterly line
14.00 feet; thence Northeasterly and perpendicularly
to sa1d Northeasterly line 268.87 feet to said North-
easterly line; thence Southeasterly along eaid North-
easterly line 7.00 feet to the point of commencement,
the same being a portion or said Lot 125.
The above and rore;oing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and passed by the Council or the City of Palo Alto at a
regular meeting held on the 23rd day of June, 1952, by the following
vote:
AYES: Bishop. Blois, Cashel, Cathcart, Drysdale, Gaspar, Hillt
Marshall, Mitchell, Montreuil, Simpson, Wickett. ., NOES: None.
APPROVED: !~/~ -ABSENT: Bower, Miller.
