CALLING FOR BIDS ON SALE OP IMPROVEMENT BONDS

ACQUISITION & IMPROVEMENT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, that
l. The City Clerk or aa1d City be, and ahe is hereby
directed to call for bids for the eale or 1mprovement bonds to
be issued pursuant to Resolution or Intention No. 2223 adopted
by this Council on February 11, 1952~ said bidB to be received by
said City Clerk at or before the hour of 4:00 o'clock PM or
Monday, the 9th day of June, 1952, and to be publicly opened,
examined and declared at said time 1n the regular meeting place
or said Council, Council Chambers, City Hall, Palo Alto, Calif·
ornia. Said notice, in form a ~opy of which is hereto attached
marked Exhibit "A", shall be given by publication once in the
Palo Alto Times, a newspaper publiehed in said City, at least
ten days before said date.
2. The City Council will furnish the legal opinion of
the law firm of Kirkbride, Wilson, Harzfeld & Wallace, San Mateo,
California, unqualifiedly approving the legality of the pro-
ceedings ar.d the 1ssUB.nce or said bonds.

I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy
or resolutioh adopted by the City Council of the City or
Palo Alto, California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the
26th day or May, 1952, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen:
Bishop, Blois, Cashel, Drysdale, Oaepar, Hill, Marshall,
Miller, Mitchell, Montrou11, Simpson, Wickett.
NOES, Councilmen: None.
ABSENT, Councilmen: Bowden, Bower, Cathcart.
