RE..~OLVED, by the Coc:ncil of the City of Palo Alto, Cr.tl1forn1a, that
WHEREAS, sn1d Council did on the 28th day of April, 1952,
adopt :tts Resolution of Intention No. 2278 to order improvements
therein deocribed; and did therein fix the time and place when
and wh~re na:td Council would hear any and all persons interested therein;
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of so.id City duly 1Save notice of'
the time and place of said hearing, in the time, form and manner provided by law;
WHEREAS, this is the time and place flxed in said Resolu-
tion when and where said Council will hear said protests and objections;
WHEHEAS, written and oral protests and objections against
the proposed improvements have been filed With the City Clerk of
ssid City at or before or made at the time set for said hearing by
per~ons interented or who are owner3 of property which 1s :nibject
t0 assessment 1n aa1d proceedings;
WHEREAS, said Council has duly heard and considered en.ch
an(! a11 of said protests and ob,Jections and each and all persons
de:~irinr<, to be heard in connection w:l.th said matter was ;ind
we::-e given an opportunity to and did present their said protests an(~ ob.~ections, and sei.1d matters were ft<lly presented, heard arid
considered by said Council; and
WHEREAS, it appears, .?.nd said Council so fir:ds, that said
protests so filed were not filed by the owners of more than one-
half of the area of the property to be assessed for said improvements.
NOW, TEEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED arid ORDERED that said
protests and objections be, and they and each and all of them are hereby,overruled and denied.

I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy
of resolution adopted by the City Council of the City o~
Palo Alto, California, at a regular meeting thereof held on
the 12th day of May, 1952, by the following vote or the
members thereof:
