' 0 .,._,.,._. ,., ··~···· .,,,,._ .... , .......... ···~·H• R E S 0 L ~ T I 0 N N 0 • 2288 The City Council of the City of Palo Alto does resolve as follows: THAT, pursuant to Section 35304.5 of the Government Code of the State of Cal1forn1a, said City Council does hereby consrmt to the annexation to the Ci t:r or Mountain View of the following described area of real prop1!!!rty situated within three miles of the bol.lndar1es of said City 1:>f Palo Alto, California; said real property being described as follows: BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the Southerly Line of Anza Street, 50 feet wide, with the Easterly line of Mountain View Avenue, 50 feet w.tde, as the same are 3hown on Sheet 1 of a map or Subdivision of Montebello Acres, Santa Clara County, California, dated May 1927, and filed in book X, pages 1 1 2 and 3, of Maps, May 4, 1928, the same being a PJ1nt in the Southerly City limits of the City of Mountain View as show on 11 Map of Annexation of the Bl Camino Addition No. 4, Da.ted May 1950"; thence Southerly along said Easterly property line of Mountain View Avenue 1n its various courses and dis- tanceD to the point of intersection of said Easterly property line with the Easterly prolongation of the Northerly line of I.ot 90, as shown on sheet 2 of said Subdivision of Montebello Acree; thence Westerly along said Baoterly prolongation and said Northerly line ar.d the Westerly pr·olongation of said nor- therly line of Lot ~O, N. 890 30' W. a distance of 25.08 chains from a 4" x 4 1 stake at the Southeasterly corner of that certain 22. 50 acre 'i;ract of land described in records of deed from Lo1s E. Walter to Isabel P. Walter dated July 9, 1921 and recorded February 24, 1936 1n Volume 760 of Official records page 272 of Santa Clara County R~coras, to a point in the West- erly line of Springer Road, 40 feet wide, sa1d point being the Northwesterly corner of the sa1d Montebello Acres Tract; thence N. o0 06 1 I. 12.902 chains, more or less, to a 2"X14" redwood stake; thence leaving said Springer Road S. 890 37' E. 1.233 chs. to a 2" x 4" redwood stake; thence N. o0 06 1 E. 1.23~ chs. to a 211 x 4" redwood stake; thence s. 89° 37' E. 20.594 chs. to the center or the Permanente Creekl thence up said Creek S. 38° 35' E. 0.207 chs. thence S. 3u0 251 E. 2.55 chs., thence S. 27° 07' E. 1.86 chs.; thence S. 34° 27' E. 0.72 chs., thence leavin~ said Perman~nte Creek S. 1° 28 1 E. 0.757 chs. to a stake marked A. 2. standing at the northeasterly corner of said 22.50 acre tract of land, sald Northeasterly property 375 corner being also n point ln the 'Westerly line o!' Mountain View Avenue; thence Southeasterly and Northeasterly along said West- erly line of Mountain View Avenue in all its courses and dis- tancen to its intersection with the Southerly line of Anza Street, 50 feet wide, the said last mentioned point of inter- section being also the Southerly boundary of the City of Mountain View as shown on said "Map o~ Annexation of the El Camino An- nexation io. 4"; thence Easterly along said Southerly City Lirr:its in a direct line to the point of beginning. THAT said City Council does hereby ratify and approve any consent which mlzht have been given by the city mana~er of sR1d c~ty to said City of Mountain View; THAT sa1d City Council does hereby waive any ooJec- tions to such proposed annexation which might exist under said Section 35304.5 of the Government Code of the State of CaJ.1forri1a. 376 The foregoing resolution was regularly 1ntrod~ced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 28th day of April, 1952 by the following roll call vote: AYF.S: NOE.<:>: ABSENT: Bishop, Blo1a, Bowden, Cashel, Drysdale, Coun:!1lmen Gaspar, H:l.11, Mar3hall, Miller, Simpson, Wickett.
