R E S 0 L U T I 0 N NO. 2287 _....
The Clty Council of the City of Palo Alto does resolve as follows:
THAT, pursuant to Section 35304.5 of the Government
Code of the State of California, sa1~ City Council does hereby
consent to the anne>..ation to the Cl ty of Mounta.1n View of the
· follcw1ng described area of real property situated within three
miles or the boundaries of said City of Palo Alto, California;
said real property being described as follows:

BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the Westerly
property line of St1er11r1 Road with the Northerly boundary line
of the City of Mountain View as described in and established by
the St1erl1n Road Annexation to the City of Mountain View, dated ,
.January 29, 1947; thence running Northerly along the Westerly
property line or St1erl1n Road to the intersection thereof with
the Northeaaterly line of Ra~cho Pastor1a de las Borregas; thence
leaving the westerly property 11~e of Stierlln Road and running
along said Rancho 11ne North 58° 42'V.,1,845 feet, more or less,
to the Southeasterly corner of that certain 17.273 acre tract
of land as described in the deed from William Zappett1n1. et us,
to the Whisman School D1atrict of Santa Clara, dated July 1,
1947; recorded August 21, 1947, in Book 1497 Official Records~
Page 89, Santa Clara County Records; thence leaving said
Rancho line and running along the Easterly line of said 17.273
acre tract North i 0 J.6 1 F..ast, 1120.94 feet, more or less,
to a point on the Northerly line of that certain 80.575 acre
tract cf land described in the deed from Ollie T. Mockbee,
executrix to William Zappettini, dated May 1, 1946, Re·corded
May 14, 1946, in Book 1358, Official Records, Page 70, Santa
Clara County Records; thence alon§ said Northerly line of
80.575 acre tract of land South 89 East, 1468.32 feet, more or
less. to the point of 1ntersect1on of said Northerly line with
the Southwesterly line o:t that certain parcel of land as des-
cribed in the deed from Charlas Henry Mockbee, et us, to State
of Cal1f1>rnia, Dated May 5, 1932, Reoorded July 12, 1932, in
Book 622, Official Records, Page 10, Santa Clara County Records;
thence running along the Southwesterly line or the land so des-
cribed in the deed to the State of Californ1aJ South 63° 24'
Bast, 127.64 feet; thence tangent to the last mentioned course
along a curve to the right with a radius of 100 feet, ¥hrough
an angle of 63° 24' for a distance of 110.65 feet to a point
distant West 40 feet from the Easterly line of the said 80.575
acre tract; thence South 53° 28 1 East to the Easterly property
line of Stierlin Road; thence Southerly along said Easterly
line of Stierlin Road in all its various courses and distances
to the intersection thereof' with the l\ortherly City Limits of
the City of Mountain View, as shown on that certain Map of
"Annexation of Schley Addition to the City of :Mountain View,
California," dated April 1948; thence continuing along said
City Limits of Mountain View 1n all 1ta various courses and
distances to the point of beginning.
THAT said City Counci.1 does hereby ratify ar.d approve
any consent which might have been given by the city manager or said
city to said City or Mountain;
THAT said City Council does hereby waive any
objections to such proposed annexation which might exist under
said Section 35304.5 or the Government Cod.e or the State of

adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 28th
day of April, 1952 by the following roll call vote:
