CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT
AMARILLO AVE?H1E ET AL
PROJECT NO. 49-10
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto that
WHEREAS, said Council did on the 14th day or Apr11, 1952,
order the City EngiTieer to make and f1le with eaid Council an
amended asseesnH!nt of the parcel or property the former aseeesment
upon which under Resolution or Intention No. 2089 or said Council
is deaignated upon the or1gina.l asseaament and diagram and
confirmed by sa1d Cou~cil on August 27, 1951, and recorded 1n
the off1ce of the Superintendent or Streets or said City, as diagram and assessment No. 394;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the 15th day of April, 1952~ pursuant to said order, file with the clerk of ea1d City an amended diagram and assessment;
1~HEREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 28th day of April,
1952, aa the time for hearing aa1d amer,ded assessment and ca•.taed
notice of said heat•1ng to be published twice in the Palo Alto Times,
as appears frorn the affidavit or publication on file in the office
or the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at t.he time and place f1xed for sa1cl hearing, no
protests or ·:>b,ject1ons were made or presented to the proposed
amended assessment, and all matters and th1nga pertaining to said
a.mended assessment were fully heard and considered by sa1<.i. Counc11;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment
filed with the Clerk of said City pur3uant to resolution ordering
same be and the same is hereby rat1fled~ approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of said City shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with a certified copy of this resolution thereto attached, and
aa1<1 City Engineer shall thereupon record s:Jch amended assessment
w1 th a. certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk or said City
that it is the amended assessment app~oved by the City Co~ncil.
The City Engineer shall note opooaite the assessment in
said original diagram and assessment No. 394 that it has been
displaced by said amended assessment, g1v1ng the date, and shall
credit upon such amended assessment all payments theretoroz·e made
upon the original assessment. When said amended assea&ment has
been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original asaaBs-
ment ir.volved to be ~ancelled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 28th day or April, 19~52,
by the following vote:
