CON?IRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT
I,OMA VERDE ANNEX SEWERS
PROJECT NO. 47-5
RP'..SOLVRD, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto that
WHEREAS, said Council d1d on the 14th day of April, 1952,
order the City Engineer to make and file with said Council an
a.mended assessment of the parcel of property the former assessment
upon which under Resolution of Intention No. 1620 of said Council
is designated upon the original aasesament and diagram and
confirmed by sa1d Council on Jariuary 12, 1948, and recorded in the
office of the Superintendent of Streets of said City, aa diagram
and assessment No. 60-K;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the 15th day of April,
1952, pursuant to said order, file with the Clerk of said City a
diagram and amended assessment;
WJ!EREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 28th day of April,
1952, as the time fo~earing said amended assessment and caused
notice cf said hearing to be published twice in the Palo Alto Tim~s,
as appears from the affidavit of publication on file in the office
of the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing, no
protests or objections were made or presented to the propc3cd
amended asse3sment, and all lf~tter3 and things pertaining to said
amended assessment wer•e fully he-ard and considered by said Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment
filed with the Clerk of said City pursuant to resolution ordering
same be and the same is hereby ratified, ~pproved and confirmed.
IT IS JtJ'RTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of said City sha 11
deliver sa1d amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
w1th a certified copy of this resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer s·hall thereupon record such amended assesame11t
with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City
that :1.t is the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the assessment in
said original diagram and assessment No. 60-K that it has been ·
displaced by said amended assessment, giving the date, and shall
credit upon such amended assessment all payments theretofore made
upon the original assessment. When said amended assessment has
b~en recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original aasessment
involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regu1.arly adopted by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto
a.t a regular meeting thereof held on the 28th day of April, 1952,
by the following vote:
