RKSOLVRO, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
WHEREAS, the Council did on the 2l~th day or March, 1952, adopt 1ts Resolution No. 2267 of Intention to order work to
be done and improvements to be made in said City;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Cl.erk is hereby directed to
publish 1n the Palo Alto Times, a newspaper of general circu-
lation, printed, published and circulated in said City and
hereby designated by said Council for that purpoae, a Notice
Inviting Sealed Proposals for doing the work and making the
improvements described in said Resolution No. 2267 of Intention.
All proposals or bids shall be accompanied by a check
payable to the City of Palo Alto, certified by a responsible
bank{ for an amount which shall not be leas than ten per cent
(1\?%J of the aggregate or the proposal, or by a bond for said
amount and so payable, signed by the bidder and a corporate
surety or two individual sureties, who shall justify before any
officer competent to administer oaths, in double the said amount,
and over and above all statutory exemptions.
Said sealed proposals shall be delivered to the City
Clerk, on or before 4 P.M. or Monday, the 28th day of April, 1952,
said time beinz not less than ten days from the time of the first
publication of said notice. Bids will be opened, examined and
declared on said day and hour by the City Manager, in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall, who ahall report to the Council his
findings, which f1nd1nga shall be considered by said Council at its
meeting to be held at said place on Monday, April 28, 1952, at 7:30 l'. M.

I h'?reby cert1.fy the foregoing to be a true copy of resolution
adopted by the C1ty Council or the City of Palo Alto, California,
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 14th day of April, 1952,
by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and 1n favor thereof, Councilmen:
Bishop, Blois, Cashel, Cathcart, Gaspar, Hill, Marshall,
Mitchell, Montrouil, Simpson, Wickett.
NOBS, Councilmen: None.
AB.SENT, Councilmen: Bowden, Bower, Drysdale, Miller.
