RF.SOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto that
WHEREAS, said Council did on the 10th d~y of March, 1952,
order 'the City Er1g1neer to make and fl le w1 th said Counc1 l an
amended assessment of the parcels of property the former assessment
upon which under Resolution of Intention No. 2094 of said Council
are designated upon the original asseaament and diagram and
conf1.rmed by said Council on June 11,, 1951, and recorded in the
office or the Superintendent of Streets of said City, as diagram
and aaaensment Nos. 908 and 909;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the 11th day or March,
1952, pursuant to said order, file with the Clerk of said City a
diagrsm and amended assessment;
WHEREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 24th day of March,
1952, as the time for hearing aaid amended assessment and caused
notice or said hearing to be published twice 1n the Palo Alto Times,
as appears from the affidavit of publication on file in the office
of the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fi.xed for said hearing, no
protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
amended assessment, and all matters an.d things pertaining to said
amended asaeaament wer~ fully heard and considered by said Council;
NOW~ '11HRRRI~ORE~ .tT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment
filed with the Clerk of said City pursuant to resolution ordering
same be and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FTJRTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of said City shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with a c~rt1f.1ed copy of this resolution thereto attached, and said.
City Enc:;ineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment with
a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City that !t
1s the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the assessment in said
original diagram and assessment Nos. 908 and 909 that they have
been displaced by said amended assessment, giving the date, and
shall credit tipon such amended assessment all payments theretofore
made upon the original assessment. When said amended assessn·.ent
has been recorded, the City Eng:1.neer shall cause the original
assessment involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify th~t the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of the City or Palo Alto nt
a regular meeting thereof held on the 24th day of March, 1952,
by the following vote:
